Discussion Starter #1 Jun 24, 2019. Hi, I#x27;ve recently started having a weird issue where my monitor will go black no signal, and one of the fans on my GPU ramps up. The PC still looks to be running, and is totally fine immediately after restarting. It#x27;s only happened three times, and there doesn#x27;t seem to be a pattern or reason to it. On the automatic setting, the fan usually spins at 20, which is enough to keep the GPU cool when it#x27;s not really doing anything. The actual quot;20quot; speed is 1100 RPM or so, compared to a 100 speed of 3400 RPM. Choosing a fixed speed, whether it#x27;s 20 or 60, doesn#x27;t stop the fan from revving to 100 every now and again.
